An increase in the productivity of animals is associated with a general improvement population, which largely depends on accuracy genotype assessment. The most accurate estimates can be obtained help modern indices: evaluation and selection. At same time, it important to calculate weight coefficients traits included selection index structure, separately for each herd (breed). Evaluation by indices allows selecting best further use. According results reproductive qualities sows crossbreeding using indices, superiority large white breed covered boars landrace was established, lowest among pigs combinations ♀P×♂D ♀D×♂P. stage studying growth dynamics pigs, we studied patterns individual development ontogenesis according criteria that would characterize indicators allow us determine type their formation. Animals ♀D×♂P group outperformed counterparts other experimental groups. groups had highest uniformity. control combination ♀VB×♂L were inferior them. terms intensity shows high energy formation animals, they reached slaughter conditions faster under keeping feeding compared characterized uniform at this stage. During fattening period, offspring preserved. In order select highly productive individuals, use crossbreeding, calculated evaluating gilts capacity, meat offspring.
